District 5
On October 24,1953 Charles and Bertha Libick, welcomed a son whom they named Ronald Paul Libick. In his early years Ronnie lived in the Bundick Lake area. He still does today. He graduated with honors from East Beauregard High School in 1971. He is married to Marie. They have been married for over 40 years and have three beautiful daughters and eight amazing grandchildren.
His first job was at Bailey's Tractor working as a tractor mechanic. His next job was working for the Beauregard Parish Police Jury as a helper. Mr. Libick eventually worked his way up to become a Road Foreman. After thirty-three years of employment with the Parish, the last twelve years as a Foreman, he retired.
In 2011, Mr. Libick decided to run for the office of Police Juror of District 5 and was elected to begin serving in 2012. He has recently been reelected to serve his second term.
