Carlos Archield has represented District 3-A since 2000, serves as chairman of Landfill /Solid Wastes, and is a member of the Personnel and Ways and Means Committees.  He is married to Sonia Archield and they one daughter, Sonia who attends DeRidder High School.

 

Carlos also worked for the Beauregard Parish School Board for 25 years.  Before becoming a member of the Beauregard Police Jury, Carlos served 3 years in the Army then the Louisiana National Guard during Operation Desert Storm. 

 

Carlos is involved in many organizations and committees which include co-founder of the C & B Community Organization and member of the BeauCare Board of Directors.  He helped organize the Martin Luther King Celebration March, Juneteenth Celebration, and the Mardi Gras parade.  In addition, Carlos is former president of Knights of Columbus, BASE, Bryant Park Committee, and NAACP.

 

The Archield family attends St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder.
